Trail Rides and a Farm Festival

The first Saturday in October was quite a busy day! The morning started off exciting by taking Haylie on a trail ride, along with friends of ours from her gymnastics class. She was so excited to see the ponies and was amazed at the horses. "Big ones!" she'd say. She did great on the trail! Part way through she decided it was better to be carried by me and just walk with the ponies. She really liked seeing her friend Nehuel on his pony. Despite cold hands she had such a great time. We will definitely be going back soon.
After spending the morning with ponies, we ventured on to a farm festival. Nehuel and Haylie shared a ride on a tractor-pulled train and shimmied around in the field of pumpkins. By early afternoon it was time to head home. Within minutes of our drive, Haylie had fallen asleep. All that fun can wear a little one out!
