Happy birthday Miss Haylie! Our baby has grown up fast! She's now our 2 year old "little girl" and ready to take on the world. She has accomplished many milestones over the past year and I'm still just in awe at this little person who is now running around the house, giving her opinion, and holding conversations about her memories.Like just tonight at bedtime, we were laying in bed waiting for her to fall asleep, and out of the quiet she starts saying over and over: "momma locked the door, locked the house, momma and Haya walk to gramma's house." The story being that last week I accidentally locked Haylie and I out of the house without my keys and had to walk to Jonny's parent's house until Jonny could pick us up after work. My brain doesn't seem to be working that well these days!
She also says "cow kicks the horse" which she saw happen at her Pappa's house when she was only a year and a half. Now she has added to the sentence: "Horse hits the fence, horse jumps, run run fast!", describing how our neighbors horse got too close to the electric fence, while standing just a few feet from Haylie and I. I'm sure every mother is impressed with their children, just watching them learn is a remarkable thing!
