Goodbye August.....

Here are more pictures from this month. The top ones are right before we went to the Lynden Fair, which Haylie loved of course. She said the big horses were her favorite, and I think they were the favorite of Jonny and I also. Gymnastics has been a lot of fun so I wanted to share some pictures of that. Haylie can do forward rolls by herself now and loves all the stations that are available to play on. The next three pictures are of Jonny's magnificent block tower. It stood a few blocks taller than him, and Haylie was pretty impressed by it. She was a bit startled when it came crashing down a few seconds later. The life-jacket picture was a few hours before Haylie and I went swimming at Baker Lake with a friend of mine. I was hoping to get her used to wearing it so that it would feel familiar when it was time to go in the water. Thankfully it worked and she was happy to splash and kick the water in the arms of mom. The bottom two pictures are of Haylie with her adorable new sweater that her Great Grandma Debbie bought for her at the Concrete Saturday market, during Good Old Days (Cascade Days). Pappa Tom's friend Debbi also bought her a pretty sweater that she will be able to grow into. We are very fortunate to have so many people in our lives who love us, near and far away!
